Motivated
climate change is motivating me
to do more.

With climate change wins, conservation commitments, personal stories, content, and latest science, we can find ourselves feeling motivated - motivated that we can find solutions, enable technology to better serve us, and create a just, equitable, healthy and balanced world. It is within our reach.
You are allowed to feel motivated. If you find yourself motivated to create change, do not be hard on yourself. There is no harm in feeling motivated to create change.
This motivation is a powerful tool. Some argue it is all we have.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead

Once you have identified that feeling you have is motivation - motivated to create change, find solutions, and commit yourself to being part of the solution, it’s time to channel that motivation.
The channeling of this motivation can often materialize as influencing what you study (climate science, biology, biodiversity), volunteering your time with organizations and causes, changing your career, and even changing your lifestyle.
It is important to remember, however, that all of these outputs are not without challenges. Just because you are motivated to find a climate job, does not mean it will automatically be easy. In fact, it may be super challenging. All the more reason to continue to nurture, feed, and tap into your motivation.

In 2023 and beyond we’ll be launching our Climbing Pods, where we work together to tap into our emotions, give them space to breath but begin the important work of putting these emotions to use. Let them be a tool for motivation, not something that brings us down. Sign up to join the waitlist.
